This, people, is the magnificent milestone I have been waiting 6 long years, 10 months, and 11 days for: the first cup of tea delivered lovingly to my bedside table on a Sunday morn.
Only minor spillage, on to the saucer (good choice, my child), and the tea was still vaguely warm by the time half a litre of milk was added and a slow procession up the stairs was made. SUCCESS.
I was super impressed with the kidlet despite the fact that she was actually procrastinating and was meant to be getting her own breakfast and finding some clothes, but I'll not complain. Never has a tea tasted so good as when brought to you by a super proud 6 year old.

I am well impressed. Go Hannah! Wondering how long it will take my nearly five year old to follow suit...
ReplyDeleteWow, go Hannah!
ReplyDeleteElla makes toast but not drinks yet. Will have to start training her up!
And steps as well? Well done Hannah on the careful carrying, well done mum on the brilliant training. Classy crockery too!
ReplyDeleteOh bless her....I remember (several eons ago) making tea for my mum in bed...and getting salt and sugar confused. Well done kidlet!
